# Set your Store Settings

In this Onboarding step, we will set some system preferences and settings for your store. This is all done on the [Store Settings](/user-guide/settings/store-settings.md) screen.

After installation, these will be set to default values. It's best you set these to what's relevant for your store as a first step, however, they can all be modified at any time by going back to the Store Settings screen.

As a minimum we recommend you set/check the following form fields when you first start using Product Rentals Pro. You can come back to other settings later.

* Timezone
* Date Format
* Administrator Email Address
